SM PLAYER

Double-click the recently downloaded file.

Press the Run button in the Security Warning page.

Choose your preferred installer language and click OK. The default selection is set to English.

Click Next > in the Setup page.

Scan and read all the program’s License Agreement and press Next > to proceed.

Check or uncheck the components you want to include or exclude. Click Next >.

Choose where you want to install SMPlayer and press the Install button. The default location is set to C:\Program Files\SMPlayer.

While installing the program, SMPlayer will also download its own set of codecs. Wait for the download to complete and press Next >.

The installation is now over. Check Run SMPlayer 0.6.9 and click Finish to close the setup.

This is the main interface of SMPlayer.

If you have a corrupted or damaged movie, try to open it using Windows Media Player.

Although WMP is a great media player, it can’t play this type of file. You will get a message similar to this:

Now, try to open that file using VLC. Still, it’s unplayable. Although the VLC media player is known to repair damaged movie files, it still failed in my test.

With SMPlayer, however, playing busted movies is possible. You’ll just have to drag and drop a damaged file to its interface and it will automatically play that movie — no repairing or getting 3^rd-party codecs. You can also open a file by clicking the Open menu and pressing File….

In an instant, the program will play the corrupted movie. It’s that easy.

The program has many added and useful features. For one, if you want to capture a still-image of the movie, click the Screenshot button (the one with the camera).

The quality of the screenshot will depend on the quality of the movie-file. You can access the screenshot output at the default location: C:\Users\Sample User Name\.smplayer\screenshots.

Another feature this program has is its capability to directly download a subtitle. To access this command, just click the Subtitles menu and Find subtitles on OpenSubtitles.org….

When you’re already in the Find Subtitles form, just hit the Enter key and all available subtitles will be listed for you to download.

steps to install TC kit on win 7 (32 /64 bit)

Folllowing are the steps....................
1) Download DOS BOX 0.74 and install it.
2) Download turbo C++ version 3.0.
3) Create a folder,for example „Turbo“ (c:\Turbo\)
4) Download and extract TC into the Turbo folder (c:\Turbo\).
5)Run the DOSBox 0.74 from the icon located on the desktop
6)Type the following commands at the command prompt [Z]:
                mount d c:\Turbo\ (D drive is any drive other than C in which u had placed TC)
                Now you should get a message which says: Drive D is mounted as a local directory
                c:\Turbo
                     now change the drive from Z to D (D:)
                     type{ cd tc
                               cd bin
                                tc}
                       for full screen press (Alt+Enter)

To clear windows run History

Many of us use windows run prompt for various reasons .There are certain applications that can be
opened through command prompt only. Most people use run Command prompt with commands likeregedit, temp, %temp%, cmd, explorer.exe etc. But once you enter a command, it gets stored there and can be seen by anyone who uses that computer.

Few of us don’t like to reveal their using history to others. And hence they get annoyed to see those command coming out each time they open run command prompt.

  

In fact there are two ways to remove those pre typed commands. We can either use system registry

to clear them or there are third party softwares available to perform this. Lets know the steps

Clear Windows Run Via Registery
1. Go to START –> RUN –> Type Regedit

2. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ Explorer\RunMRU\

3. On the right hand side you can notice few registry values. (DO NOT change any value anywhere. Your computer might stop working.)

4. Double click the MRUList and delete everything from the value data box.

5. And this will delete everything from your run prompt. Your run prompt should look like unused and fresh now.
